Aug. 15, 2008 - THE OFFICIAL GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY!!! The realization of the dream begins to take shape. The contracts for construction were awarded and construction begun. |

October 8, 2008 -- THE BIG NEWS!!!! All the asphalt is down! Since the start of construction mid-August, progress was stunning and very exciting! In six short weeks from the time contracts were signed, the asphalt paving was completed! |

November 18, 2008 -- With all the concrete barriers in place, seeding can begin. Also the job of bundling and distributing tire barriers begins. This process will take months and is being done 100% by volunteers. |

November 22, 2008 -- And speaking of that tire bundling effort, here's an assembly line of workers. About 1,000 tire per week will be delivered to the track, all of which must be bundled together and distributed around the circuit. |

March 1, 2009 -- The steel starters stand is erected. Our starters never had it so good. |

March 18, 2009 -- Workers installing the RV hookups, 13 pedestals to provide 26 hookups the paddock area. |

March 28, 2009 -- At left, the Starter Stand is now festooned with an Inaugural Track Banner while at right work on the RV hookups continues in spite of the snow storm |

May 16-17, 2009 -- Track is complete, the weather improves, and clubs start holding weekend events. At RMVR's Inaugural HPR event, 190+ entrants enjoy a fantastic weekend at a fantastic track. |

May 14, 2009 -- A Media Day was held where Gov. Bill Ritter and Bill Howard, track designer (RMVR) perform a ceremonial ribbon cutting. A great day for Colorado and amateur motorsports racing.. |

July 23, 2009 -- Just in time for the big August 1st "Straw Hat Gala", the 300 plus Commemorative Donor Bricks are laid out for everyone to see.
